But this simple move holds cues about how long you’re gonna live or how likely you are to die of a heart attack. It is known to be one of the easiest yet eerily accurate indicators of all-cause mortality and cardiovascular health. This little move is your way to get a peek into your heart’s future.

In the most recent study that was published in the European Journal of Preventive Cardiology, researchers have found that after following over 4,200 adults between 46 and 75 years of age for more than 12 years, those who scored low on the test had a significantly higher risk of dying due to cardiovascular problems.
One interesting thing to notice here is how the SRT heart test ties back to most movements that we do in our day-to-day life. And how the movement is gradually going on decreasing. Even if you do yoga for an hour in the morning but then continue sitting on a desk for 10 hours straight, your heart may still be in trouble. Multiple studies have shown that prolonged hours of sitting raises the risk of cardiovascular diseases and early death as well.
